It's an Edmonds kind of day

Edmonds is perfect today. Cool 60's in the morning, heats up to 70' noon, then maybe 80 today in the afternoon. Not a cloud in the sky, which is pretty unusual for here. Downtown Edmonds is completely in bloom on every street corner and all the summer camps are busy with kids and moms. People, mostly older couples, strolling around with their dog and people meeting up at the local Starbucks. I just delivered

Mason to her summer camp at the new Edmonds Waterfront Center where they are beach combing and exploring sealife. Filled with seniors taking classes and meeting up with friends, hanging out in the sand. David hired some guys to de-weed the backyard. Particularly, the morning glories that have taken over the hydrangeas. Of course, there are a few victims, meaning, long, over-grown branches have broken off. I get really nervous when the "guys" are weeding because they have a tendency not to know a peony from a weed. But I am thankful that the morning glories are gone, at least for the moment.

I pick up Noah from her summer camp at 1:30 then Mason at 3:00. So I have a couple of hours to mop and vacuum. I have been cleaning the basement, in the laundry area. Mainly vacuuming up Murphy hair build up in every corner and unknown stains and such on the floor. It is going to be a 3 part process. Many moppings and vacuumings. It all started yesterday when I was looking for white paint for a Brantlers that someone wants. Yes, I still have a few of those hanging out in the garage. But the hair on the floor was a complete distraction. Being a "toothbrush" cleaner, I can't just be done with vacuuming. I spent most of the afternoon, moving furniture, spraying/scrapping floor, washing walls and moldings.

It's an Edmonds kind of day, the city motto.
