Twist and Empty Nesters played at Black Squirrel Books on December 4, 2018.
Starting off the show is Ottawa’s Empty Nesters who has been covered so many times that I really lost track.
Usual indie loud garage pop-punk music. 7/10.
It’s been awhile since I last seen Twist perform.
Great time for the band since this Friday will be the release of their second album Distancing.
Lovely set of indie hazy noise pop music that made you sway dance.
Loving the last track they performed live which is Waves from Distancing.
Had that upbeat electro-rock vibe to it. 8/10
