Tolmin Gorge is another one of those hikes that one could do. So again, we walked up and down paths and paths of nature, as we followed the path that was being carved by the river. The river was immensely cold, even though it was the middle of summer. In the middle of all this, there were hot springs that have a different water temperature, and there was plenty of fish that were swimming all around.
The pictures I have above were what we saw, in more or less chronological order. We saw cold rivers, wild fish swimming in cold rivers, old bridges above cold rivers, even large rocks stuck between larger boulders hanging above cold rivers. Seriously though, Slovenia is an outdoor paradise, and we definitely enjoyed our time when we were there. Of course, all of these hikes resulted in sore limbs, but seeing what we have seen, I think it was totally worth it.
