September 19th, Montreal’s La Force and Murray A. Lightburn performed a great show at the 27 Club.
Ottawa was the first night of La Force’s mini East Coast tour.
Ariel Engle who plays with Broken Social Scene and was in Arora is going out on her own with her own project.
Currently promoting her self-titled debut album which came out last week.
Surprised to see Plants and Animals’ Warren Spicer playing guitar.
Performed a lovely Joni Mitchell song.
There was a minor mistake on one song but this being the first night of the tour, I let that slide.
Wonderful set of electro-pop rock music. 8/10.
Murray A. Lightburn of The Dears performed an intimate acoustic set.
First time seeing him solo is very cool to see. 7/10.
