Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, And Chance The Rapper Are Best Dressed At 2016 VMAs
The VMAs usually end up being one of the most exciting red carpets of the year, and 2016 was no exception. From Beyoncé's beaded and feather gown to Chance the Rapper's overalls, everyone showed up bringing their best. But some worked it so well that they managed to snag a spot on our best-dressed list. Congrats to all. You deserve it.
Kim Kardashian
After much deliberation, Kim opted for a "dressy sexy look" with "dark hair" that looked like the best beach waves I've ever set my eyes on. You made the right choice, Kimberly.
Ariana Grande
Before switching into her fitness gear, Ariana kept it simple and chic in an off-the-shoulder top with flared pants.
Beyoncé
Beyoncé gave us a surprise arrival with her whole Lemonade squad, plus Blue Ivy's first red-carpet appearance. While Blue may not have been feeling the walk, Beyoncé shut down every other person on the carpet with her couture Francesco Scognamiglio gown, featuring beads, feathers, and everything else you would consider "fancy as hell."
Nicki Minaj
While Nicki couldn't move much around the red carpet (who needs to anyway?), she gave us one of the best looks of the night. Sleek, sexy, and glamorous — basically, Nicki in a nutshell.
Jaden Smith
Always a trendsetter, Jaden wore a sheer top covered with a long coat topped with a blazer. It was 80 degrees in New York. This spot is well deserved.
Chance the Rapper
Chance may have looked like peak Super Mario Bros., but he did it in the best way. Repping Chicago brands, he pulled off the difficult look of long overalls, baseball cap, and paint-splattered jacket.
Amber Rose
I imagine this is the uniform of the "Bad Bitch Club."
Tinashe
One of our beloved post-show hosts showed up in a sultry head-to-toe red look.
Diddy
Just when you thought you'd never see Diddy in anything but a suit or T-shirt, he shows up to the VMAs in a kimono — and totally pulls it off.
