It’s an automatic embossing machine that doesn’t use an app. It’s more faithful to the traditional and manual metal cutters you’re used to.
You can place pre-sized templates with your material into the machine. Then, it uses pressure to stencil, emboss, or cut your desired designs. All of this is done at the push of a button, and the pressure is also determined automatically.
However, we think that the downside of this product is its price, that’s the equivalent of a Cricut Joy. You can buy one from that brand, but their embossing machines can be more complex. Hence, if you prefer the Sizzix style of die-cutting, the Big Shot Switch Plus is a great option.
