Spain 3.0: Medieval Tarragona

Tarragona is not only about Roman ruins. There is actually a modern side to the city as well. However I didn't explore that, rather, I concentrate on the city's medieval side, mostly, by exploring the Old Town.

Tarragona's medieval core is composed of narrow alleys and tall buildings. This scene definitely reminds me of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter. I spent some time strolling the alleys up and down, mostly while waiting for lunch. I was looking for a restaurant to eat lunch in but as usual, places in Spain open late. So I burned some time by wandering around the Old Town.

After lunch, I headed back to the train station, and made my way back to Barcelona.
