Clinton And Trump Continue To Hold Large Leads

These charts show the latest (August 28th) results of the Reuters/Ipsos Poll. The survey is a rolling average of the last five days for both Republicans and Democrats. Bot Clinton and Trump continue to hold large leads over their respective primary candidates. Clinton leads Sanders by 20.2 points, and Trump leads Huckabee by 20.8 points. It is a small surprise that Huckabee is in second place.

  1. It is interesting to see how Trump's lead grows steadily. I was at a family related party today, and I got to hear a couple of guys talk about Trump. It was disturbing, but I can definitely see why it is that he appeals to them. There are things I like about Trump: support for Social Security and Medicare; skepticism toward trade deals. But that wasn't what these guys were talking about. I'm planning on writing about it in depth tomorrow, so it will be on Frankly Curious on Monday if you are interested.
