CBR lists '10 Classic Movies That Everyone Seems To Either Love Or Despise' including
Wuthering Heights Was Named To Be An All-Time Classic
In this movie, a boy named Heathcliff is adopted by the Earnshaws. As the movie progresses, he later goes on to have a secret romantic relationship with their daughter Catherine. However, Hindley disapproves of their relationship and separates them until they meet again.
Critics loved the tone of the movie and consider it to be a classical all-time favorite film, and many viewers reacted the same way. However, there were some who found the movie concept to be ridiculous and labeled the movie plot to be an extremely confusing concept to follow. (Juwaria Merchant)
History News Network reviews Tyler Stovall's book White Freedom.
Chapter 4 begins with the debate over whether Heathcliff, the protagonist in Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights (1847), who is described with dark metaphors and as having a semi-savage nature, had at least partial African ancestry (134). (Alan J. Singer)
The Telegraph India interviews Rasika Dugal, who lends her voice to audiobooks.
Which female characters would you like to bring to life through your voice?
Oh wow, there are so many, but I would love to narrate Jane Eyre. I have been looking forward to doing work in Hindi and Urdu. Audible is working with the Hindi language. I love Hindi and Urdu for the lyricism of the language. (Saionee Chakraborty)
TodoLiteratura (Spain) features the book Cartas olvidadas de Jane Eyre y Anna Karenina by Eugenia Tusquets y Marga Iriarte.
(Briseida Cidoncha) (Translation)

AnneBrontë.org has a post Charlotte Brontë's opinion of several books we know she read.
