Hospital Diary 31 Jul 17

Graham Weeks was feeling thankful at Northwick Park Hospital.
On Saturday afternoon I dailed for NHS advice due to shortness of breath even while lying down, a very distressing experience. An ambulance took me for hospital admission. I have congestive heart failure and am being treated with diuretic injection to remove the excess fluid collecting on the lungs. I am much much better now that I can breath again. Shortness of breath even lying down I would liken to asphyxia by waterboarding but without the water.

We had tickets to this because of Katy's great uncle's sacrifice there but due to my ill heath we sadly missed out on being with the fallen, their relatives and the royals and PM. Thomas Morrell (b. 12 Sep 1884, d. 06 Sep 1917)
Thomas Morrell (son of William MORRELL and Sara WHITELEGG) was born 12 Sep 1884, and died 06 Sep 1917 in Belgium.
The royals join thousands of relatives to remember 100 years since the 1917 battle.

Moved to a side room of Jenner ward, 9th floor with a view of the Wembley arch and east to the Shard. So a ward named after a man who truly changed the world for the better.
