This is not a gun-free website.  We believe in suppressive fire and in aiming center-mass.  In all active shooter situations, we believe that one good guy with a gun is worth any number of neurotic, gun-a-phobic liberals armed with nothing but high caliber intentions. Because every time a whack-job with a rifle or a peaceful Islamist or two opens fire on a crowd of innocents, you can be as sure as the sun sets in the west that the usual gaggle of conniving lefty politicians and caterwauling useful idiots will be clamoring to disarm everyone who didn’t do it.

  Senate Democrats Introduce Major Gun Ban Bill

The bill — sponsored by Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., and other Senate Democrats — would make it illegal to sell more than 200 types of semi-automatic weapons as well as magazines holding more than ten rounds of ammunition.

Feinstein never saw a firearm she didn’t want to confiscate (except her own). She’s the poster person for anti-2nd Amendment Congress Critters, almost exclusively Democrats, ignorant and full of bull, surrounded by armed bodyguards, and carrying concealed pistols on their persons.  They support gun control; just not for themselves.

Feinstein, who’s been in the Senate long enough to have written the 2nd Amendment, introduces legislation intended to gut it on any day that ends in “y”. She’s a Democrat, after all, and like all incipient totalitarians, knows full well that a disarmed public is inevitably a docile public.

The perennial gun-control debate in America did not begin here. The same arguments for and against were made in the 1920s in the chaos of Germany’s Weimar Republic, which opted for gun registration. Law-abiding persons complied with the law, but the Communists and Nazis committing acts of political violence did not.

In 1931, Weimar authorities discovered plans for a Nazi takeover in which Jews would be denied food and persons refusing to surrender their guns within 24 hours would be executed. They were written by Werner Best, a future Gestapo official. In reaction to such threats, the government authorized the registration of all firearms and the confiscation thereof, if required for “public safety.” The interior minister warned that the records must not fall into the hands of any extremist group. In 1933, the ultimate extremist group, led by Adolf Hitler, seized power and used the records to identify, disarm, and attack political opponents and Jews. (How the Nazis Used Gun Control)

Modern Democrats, like all primitive peoples, fear what they don’t understand. And two of the many things they don’t understand are firearms and the U.S. Constitution. More dangerous than mass murderers are politicians who would outlaw your right to defend yourself.  Vote accordingly. 

UPDATE: Would-Be Tyrants (i.e., Democrats) Trying to Rebrand Gun Control as “Gun Safety”

For a long time now, the gun grabbers (who often refuse to give up their own firearms and/or armed security) have used the phrase “gun control.” They’ve worked in the gun safety here and there, but, it looks like they could be making a concerted effort to rebrand, much in the way they changed global warming to climate change.
