It’s time to stop spinning the statistics & start solving the problem of homelessness says Olly Grender

In response to reports today in the Daily Mirror that the government’s been “spinning the statistics” on homelessness, Baroness Olly Grender, said:
“Homelessness is a stain on our nation and unacceptable in Britain today.
“The Government has been caught out playing a numbers game, rather than accepting there is a problem, and getting on with the more important work of finding solutions.
“It is time to stop spinning the statistics, and start solving the problem.”
The DCLG declined to comment.
