Here are some of the acts that I saw on the last day of Capitol Hill Block Party that took place on July 21, 2019.
Highlights was seeing Yves Tumor doing some sort of post-punk glam rock style set. Think of it as a tripped out version of David Bowie and Prince. 9/10.
Seeing Spesh for the second time but this time they performed at Barboza. 8/10.
Ending the night with Cuco who had a packed crowds at Vera Stage.
Only 21 years old, he surely swept the audience with his indie chill pop blending English and Spanish music.
Surely will be a big name down the road. 8/10.
Vancouver’s Actors (who I didn’t know was Canadian) put on an incredible set of post-punk new wave music! 8/10.
