A woman pushing a toddler in a stroller was mugged in Central Park yesterday afternoon, according to police.

Cops say the unidentified woman was followed into the park near 90th Street and Central Park West at around 12:40 p.m. yesterday by three individuals. One individual pushed her from behind while another grabbed her bag, and all three fled the scene.

Police were able to apprehend the alleged assailants at Amsterdam and West 88th Street not long after the woman was mugged. All three were arrested—police say one of the suspects briefly ran from cops and was apprehended on the roof of a 17-story building.

Though the NYPD was unable to provide Gothamist with identifying information regarding the arrestees, A Walk in the Park reports that two 19-year-old men were arrested along with a 14-year-old girl.

There are conflicting reports about whether the victim is the child's mother or nanny. But neither the woman nor the toddler were harmed.
