In 2017, Dhruv Boruah began cycling on the River Thames to collect plastic waste in the water. He used the stunt as a way to inform curious onlookers about the threat of plastic pollution in our waters. We met with him as he cleaned up the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn, New York with the help of the Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club. It was quite a ride.
