After evolving from the earliest micro-organisms, we now have the ability to genetically manipulate micro-organisms. Artificial intelligence is only getting smarter, and our grasp of physics is (maybe) scratching the surface but (definitely) getting stronger. But could all this progress spell our eventual doom?
