Hand-sewn or DIY masks may need to be hand-washed. For hand-washing masks, lather with laundry detergent and baking soda under running hot water for 20 seconds, then toss in dryer tumble dried on high heat. If wrinkled, iron masks on low heat.
How to Clean Rubber Gloves

However, no matter their strength, your gloves need protection too. Avoid unseen punctures, foul-smelling odors and residue covered gloves by following these easy simple steps.
Step 1. Mix a mild liquid detergent with warm water in a bucket or stainless steel sink.
Step 2. Pulling from the bottom, the gloves inside out. Wash gloves in sudsy water, scrubbing the outside of the gloves.
Step 3. Rinse the gloves with warm water.
Step 4. Hang gloves upside down to drip dry or lay on a towel and pat dry.
