Hospital diary 3 Aug 17

Seeing the dawn over Wembley Stadium.

It is a beautiful clear morning and even with the naked eye I can count 12 tower cranes in my panoramic vista.

I am told that if the angiogram, whenever it happens, shows not too much damage, stents will be inserted there and then. If we are in a worse state it may be surgery elsewhere or some stents first and more at a later date. Wait and see is all I can say.
I have my DNA results and I am Europe 100%
Great Britain 37%
Ireland 29%
Europe West 24%
Scandinavia 8% My own searching has produced GB only with not a hint of Irish.

Only three days late the tissue viability nurse had my compression bandages removed and replaced by mere absorbent dressings. The Ealing community nurses had not responded with details of the dressings and this nurse is away now until Monday. So she would not replace the compression in case it went wrong and no-one else here was qualified to sort it out. I am not happy but can do nothing about it.
