Home sales in Greater Cincinnati during the holidays continue at a brisk pace.
The numbers tell the story. From November 15th through the 29th, the Multiple Listing Service of Greater posted 745 Pending sales ( accepted contracts-not closed). 104 Pending sales popped up in the last 24 hours and the month isn’t quite over yet.
The Pending sales are happening during a time when the number of homes for sale is at a historical low for the greater Cincinnati area. So you have to wonder why so many sellers are waiting for spring before they list their house for sale?
The average list price for the current sales is $208,557. 5 of the sales were for million-plus priced homes.
Holidays and real estate go well together and deals are happening on a daily basis. Buyers don’t expect you to take down decorations and are willing to see past wrapping paper and trees to look at properties in their price range.
Great weather, low-interest rates and lack of homes for sale is the perfect holiday mix if you’re a motivated buyer or seller.
