It’s break time for many choir leaders, but how do you actually switch off?

I’ve written before about why taking time out is so important for choir leaders.

But how do you actually switch off to make the most of your downtime?

It’s all very well saying that taking a break is important, but some people find it hard.

How is it possible to really switch off and forget about work?

Adele Bates is a teacher, speaker, writer and educator for students with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. She has written a great blog post: Stop! But how do we actually switch off?

It’s aimed at teachers, but her ideas can easily be applied to choir leaders. She also has a 9 minute video to support the post. Well worth watching.
