Typewriter sculptor Jeremy Meyer sez, "I just got back from Telluride where the feature-length documentary by Doug Nichol called 'California Typewriter' premiered."
"There are 3 main stories: one is about a collector of pre-qwerty and rare old typewriters (Martin Howard), another about a struggling typewriter repair shop in Berkeley (California Typewriter), then there's me and my typewriter vivisection. Past, present, future, and the stories are punctuated by interviews with Sam Shepard, Tom Hanks, John Mayer, David McCullough, and other typewriter enthusiasts. Next viewing is Mill Valley film festival in October."
