A lot more attention is being given to the Arizona Senate primary race, but Nevada’s got one going, too. Dean Heller won the last primary big, but can he repeat?

Danny Tarkanian wants to primary Heller. Tarkanian, a professional Tarkanian (like the Kardashians, but less attractive), has run for office five times and lost every time. This is his sixth attempt at public office. Tarkanian thinks that this time the power of Donald Trump will get him over the line, a hope that was shared by Paul Nehlen in his primary race against Paul Ryan.

But good news for Tarkanian: he leads in the first poll, 39-31. This despite (or because of?) Heller’s solid conservative voting record. Though you can tell Heller’s worried: he voted for the fake “skinny repeal” despite having been vocal against the Trump-McConnell fake repeal efforts, but said after he was glad that it failed.
