Well, that was an exhausting 90 minutes.

The first Biden-Trump debate was basically a total mess, full of interruptions (Trump), Jim Halpert-style stares into the camera (Biden), and refusals to denounce white supremacy (Trump, obviously).

Everyone pretty much agreed that the whole thing was a total disaster, and Mark Hamill was no exception.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, everyone's favourite Jedi Master took to Twitter to make his feelings clear.

You can't put it more plainly than that.

For anyone who doesn't remember, the infamous and truly confusing Star Wars Holiday Special was a 1978 TV movie — often described as the worst TV show of all time — that scored a solid 2.1/10 on IMDb and 19 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. Set between the events of Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back, the special saw Hamill starring alongside Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and members of the original cast. It's become somewhat legendary for its negative reception.

Next up is the vice-presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence on Oct. 7, before round two of Biden-Trump on Oct. 15.

We can hardly wait.
