Yet another toll scofflaw who allegedly owed the Port Authority big bucks was busted this morning, coming into New Jersey from the Holland Tunnel.

Port Authority police say they pulled over Steven Salmon, a 37-year-old man from North Brunswick Township, around 3:30 this morning after he drove through the Holland Tunnel into Jersey City in his 2014 Honda CRV.

Port Authority cops claim they saw Salmon roll through an EZ Pass-only lane without paying a toll, and that he was known "as a regular toll violator."

When Salmon was pulled over, police say that he couldn't produce an EZ Pass, and he was then arrested. After he was taken into custody, records showed that Salmon owed $48,578 from 756 non-payment violations. His car was impounded, and Salmon was charged with theft of service.

Salmon joins the ranks of other big-time toll scofflaws who've racked up bills from $20,000 to $30,000 to $100,000 to ONE MILLION DOLLARS. Remember folks, pay the dang toll.
