Wytch Hazel & Spell / Birth

Wytch Hazel / Spell Split 7"

UK's Wytch Hazel and Australia's Spell team up to release a two-song split 7" single.

With "Chain Yourself", Wytch Hazel bring you a top-notch classic heavy metal track with strong 80s vibes and fists-in-the-air chorus.

Spell give the Strawbs classic "New World" from 1972 a new coat, without neglecting the mystical ghostly touch.

2 absolute must-have songs for fans of both bands.

Released on colored vinyl by Bad Omen Records.

Birth Born

When ASTRA's Conor Riley and Brian Ellis join forces with members of Joy, Sacri Monti and Radio Moscow, every prog and psychedelic fanatic will sit up and take notice.

The quartet from San Diego have created a true masterpiece with this album, which it is hard to believe that it wasn't created somewhere deep in the smoke-filled psychedelic 70's.

Lyrically it's about a dystopian science fiction-inspired world, life and death - great songwriting, wonderful lyrics, with mellotron and Hammond organ that sweep you away and leave you between melancholy and euphoria. This album is like a trip back in time, like a memory that makes you feel good when it comes back to your mind.

Absolute recommendation for fans of early Yes, Aphrodite's Child, Van Der Graaf Generator, Astra, sometimes Rush and King Crimson.

Released via Bad Omen Records 2022
