Come See Chris Gethard, Akilah Hughes, Brittany Luse & Eric Eddings in Brooklyn

You know how the exact moment Thanksgiving is over you find yourself wandering the aisles of CVS while “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” blasts over the PA and you’re filled with overwhelming dread, another year come and gone and what have you done with your life? Of course you do. Well, this year is different. This year, you are going to get excited for the hustle and bustle of the holiday season because you are invited to the best party in town. This year you are going to enjoy a three-ingredient cocktail with us and celebrity guests at the very first live recording of Lifehacker’s podcast, The Upgrade.

Comedians Chris Gethard and Akilah Hughes, as well as hosts of Gimlet’s The Nod, Brittany Luse and Eric Eddings, are coming to talk with hosts Melissa and Alice about “How to Fail,” because let’s face it, it’s been a year for all of us. Topics to be addressed include but are not limited to: how to recover from failure, if it’s possible to fall flat on your face and maintain any dignity, why we all feel like such failures, and if we must fail, how we can, as Beckett advised, “fail better.”
