See Charli XCX And Carly Rae Jepsen Perform Some Killer Unreleased Songs

They're 'supernatural'

PC Music got a double dose of pop superpower last night (July 20), thanks to Charli XCX and Carly Slay Rae Jepsen.

The British label teamed up with Red Bull Music Academy for a one-off showcase in Los Angeles, which featured performances from its roster of artists, including Hannah Diamond, Lil Data, and QT. Charli joined Diamond for “Paradise,” their duet from Charli’s Vroom Vroom EP, then debuted a new song with PC Music head A.G. Cook. The song, which may or may not be titled “Bounce,” finds Charli singing, “You never bring me down down down / ’Cause we just wanna bounce bounce bounce” amid a flurry of trippy sound effects.

Jepsen, meanwhile, showed up as a surprise guest during producer Danny L Harle’s set. Together, they unleashed the official live debut of “Supernatural,” a dreamy pop number packed with romantic lyrics like “It’s just like we don’t try / We just fit, you and I / We’re supernatural.”

No word yet on when (or if) the recorded versions of "Bounce" and "Supernatural" will arrive, but we're keeping our fingers crossed.
