My Fourth Visit to Spain: Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona

After returning from Girona, I found myself strolling by the waterfront. And somehow, I ended up in this futuristic building near the Forum, which housed the Museum of Natural Sciences of Barcelona. Given the look of the building, it used to be called Museu Blau, or the Blue Museum.

That day, entrance was free. So there were quite a few families spending time with their children, learning about science. I on the other hand watched plenty of videos about how the solar system developed, and about different types of rocks, and about evolution.

I spent about two hours here reading about rocks, and looking at fossils, and learning about various extinct creatures that once inhabited this earth. I found this place very educational, and even though I was a single adult visitor, I definitely enjoyed the place, which seemed to be geared for younger visitors.
