Now through Sept. 26, Adidas is running a fall sale with over 4,000 items available at up to 60% off. Which isn’t that remarkable—but you can combine the offer with a gift card deal and a limited-time discount code to maximize your savings. I tried it out, and realized some steep discounts, even on already heavily discounted items.
Combine three deals to maximize your savings
First, you’ll want to shop for the items on sale that are eligible for coupons, then use the promo code “ADIDASNIL” at checkout to get an extra 25% off. But the third trick is to use a discounted gift card as well: Right now, Groupon is selling $35 gift cards with a $15 bonus for $35 when you use the code “ADIDASG923" (so you’re essentially getting a $50 gift card for $35). Use the gift card to pay at checkout. If you’re an Adidas adiClub member, you can get free shipping on your order (it’s free to join).
There are limitations to just how much you can exploit the sales. The $35 gift card with the $15 bonus deal is only available through Sept. 30. And once you buy the gift card, the $15 will automatically load into your account, but you must use it by Dec. 31, 2023. You are also limited to buying five gift cards. The fall sale limits you to using two gift cards per order (but you can place multiple orders).
For example, you can get the NMD_S1 shoes, originally priced at $200 and on sale for $80, down to a total of $50 including shipping after using the additional 25% promo code and paying using the free $15 Groupon gift card (which has yet to be applied in the screenshot above).
Keep in mind that some premium items discounted during the fall sale are not eligible for the additional coupon, like the Ultraboost 1.0 shoes. But you can still use the Groupon gift card on top of the fall sale discount to save some money. If you were planning to do some sportswear shopping for the fall, it’s a great time to take advantage of Adidas’ sale.
And one final note: If you’re a medical professional, first responder, nurse, military member or veteran, or a teacher, Adidas always offers you a 30% discount—which is an even better deal than the “ADIDASNIL” promo code (you can only use one or the other).
